Ask the AI assistant

Click AI assistant under the QR BASE logo, or press ⌘J (Ctrl+J on Windows), and type your question. The assistant looks up your team's codes, scans and these help pages, then answers in a few lines.

What you can ask#

• "Is the code on our flyer working?"
• "How many people scanned the booth code last week?"
• "Which codes are paused?"
• "How do I change where a printed code goes?"
• "Who are the admins in our team?"
• "Create a code for our homepage in the Store folder"

Each answer shows what the assistant looked up. Answers about how to do something link to the help page they come from.

Create codes#

Ask for the codes you need, for example "Make two codes for the spring flyer, to example.com/spring, in the Marketing folder, navy on white".

1. The assistant asks which design you want: your team's design, or your own colours, shapes, corners and centre icon. Then it drafts the codes and shows each one with a preview, its link, folder and colours.
2. Remove any you don't want with ×.
3. Click Create. Nothing is created before you do.

Anything you don't choose follows your team's design. To use your own image in the middle, such as your website's logo, create the code, then upload the image on its Edit page. Website codes only: create PDF codes with New QR code.

What it can't do#

• Change existing codes. It can't edit, pause or delete codes, or change settings. It tells you where to do it yourself.
• See other teams. It only knows the team you're working in. Switch team to ask about another one.
• Be always right. Check important figures on the code's page before you act on them.

Problems#

• There's no AI assistant in the menu. It isn't switched on for your team yet. Ask the QR BASE team to turn it on.
• "Your team has used this month's assistant allowance." Each team has a monthly allowance. The assistant is back on the 1st of next month.
• "That's a lot of questions at once." Wait the few seconds shown and ask again.
• Your conversation is gone. Conversations last until you sign out, and each team has its own. Nobody else can read them.
