Download and print it
The right file for the job and a quick check before you print.
Use SVG for anything printed and PNG for screens and documents. You'll find both buttons on the code's page.
Which file to use
| Use | File |
|---|---|
| Printing: flyers, posters, packaging, signs | SVG. It stays sharp at any size. |
| Slides, emails, websites | PNG, 512 or 1024 px |
| Large-format print when your printer won't accept SVG | PNG, 2048 px |
Check before a print run
- Print one copy at its final size.
- Scan it with a few different phones, in the place where it will hang.
- Check that it opens the right page.
Don't crop the clear border around the code, whatever its background colour. Scanners need that space.
Download several codes at once
In the QR codes list, tick the codes you need, click Download in the bar at the bottom and pick SVG or PNG. You get a single ZIP file. You can download up to 100 codes at a time.
Problems
- The printed code doesn't scan. Print it bigger: at least 2 × 2 cm, and larger for anything read from a distance. Also check the contrast. See Make it look like your brand.
- The ZIP download is refused. Your selection includes codes in the trash. Restore them first, or leave them out.
