Make your first QR code
From a blank page to a file you can print, in five steps.
QR BASE codes are dynamic. The printed code always points to a short link that belongs to you. You can change where it leads at any time, even after it has been printed.
Create and download a code
- In the sidebar, open QR codes and click New QR code.
- Give it a Name your team will recognise, such as "Spring flyer". Only your team sees it.
- Paste the Destination URL, or switch Type to PDF and upload a file.
- Pick colours and a logo if you like. The Preview updates as you go.
- Click Create QR code, then Download SVG or Download PNG on the next page.
Before a print run, print one copy at its final size and scan it with a few phones.
What happens next
- Recorded scans appear under Analytics on the code's page. Recognised bots and link previews are excluded. See Read your scan results.
- If the website moves, change the destination. There's no need to reprint.
- QR BASE checks active codes every day and shows the result under Link check. See Fix a broken link warning.
Problems
- I can't find a sign-up page. Accounts are created from an invitation. Ask a team admin to invite you.
- The New QR code button is greyed out. Your team has reached its code limit, shown above the list. Move codes you no longer use to the trash. See Pause, remove or bring back a code.
