Change where a printed code goes

Point an existing code to a new page or file without reprinting.

Every code can be changed after printing. The printed code stays the same; only where it leads changes, and the change takes effect immediately.

Point it to a new web page

  1. In the QR codes list, click Change next to the code's destination.
  2. Paste the new address.
  3. Click Save. The next person who scans goes to the new page.

You can also open the code, click Edit and change the Destination URL.

Replace the PDF

Open the code, click Edit and upload the new file under PDF file. The old file is replaced. A menu, a price list or a timetable can stay up to date this way, with no reprinting.

Switch between a website and a PDF

Click Edit and change Type. When you save:

  • switching to PDF removes the URL and its UTM tags;
  • switching to URL deletes the PDF.

Problems

  • People still land on the old page. Their phone may have the old page open in a tab. Ask them to scan again.
  • There's no Change link. In Grid view, open the three-dot More menu and choose Change destination. For a PDF code, use Edit to upload a new file.
  • I want to undo a change. The old address is listed in the code's History. Copy it back in. See See who changed a code.
